Anna Mazurik is an award-winning actor based in Toronto, Ontario. Originally from Saskatchewan, she is a graduate of the Globe Theatre Actor Training Conservatory and the Bachelor of Fine Arts Acting program at the University of Saskatchewan. An actor, singer, mover, and multi-instrumentalist, Anna's theatrical work has appeared across Canada and taken her to Singapore, and her work in film has been screened internationally and been recognized for numerous awards.
In 2018, Anna appeared in Fiddler on the Roof at Persephone Theatre, The Thin Man at Vertigo Theatre and Persephone Theatre, and Shrek The Musical at the Globe Theatre. She also toured with Dumbax Productions in Naked Tourist, Sacred Mountain and made her Asian debut in the M1 Singapore Fringe Festival with Ground Cover Theatre's Displaced. Having recently moved to Toronto in pursuit of further opportunity, Anna signed with Fountainhead Talent. Since her arrival, Anna has appeared in the Canadian premiere of the musical Pregnancy Pact in Toronto and Windsor, and also enthusiastically portrayed over 30 characters in the Newmarket National Ten-Minute Play Festival.
Anna is interested in work that asks challenging questions of both the audience and of the theatrical form. In particular, she wishes to be involved in work that embraces diversity and provides a voice for those who are too often silenced. Through the arts, Anna believes she can assist in creating a greater sense of community and understanding, wherever her career takes her.
